The Rev. Damon Lynch III is a unique and prophetic voice in spelling out the pathways towards developing a strong local Black economy. This not only includes owning and controlling land, enterprise and housing, but also building community capacity to be safe, educated and healthy. He has spent his life working against the systematic racial inequities in his city of Cincinnati and the country at large. This work has given him a deep understanding into the ties between racial injustice and economic injustice. He now offers us a vision by which the Black community can become thriving, successful, healthy and whole.
